Managing expectations

Hello, this time i need help managing my own expectations and for that I’d need experience of someone who’s seen this kind of scenario more times than me

Brief context

18 yo 5ft6
181lbs bodyweight 2 years of training, 1 year with proper programming (Stuff i learned from BBM, JTS & RTS, thank you guys)

Lifts
Sq - 405
Bp - 310
Dl - 440

I would like to cut around 10% od my bodyweight, so around 20lbs because im unhappy with my body composition. Is it realistic to expect strength gain / maintenance if programming is kept in check? Thank you.

Maybe, though that is quite a bit of weight to lose for someone with your current body composition, training age, and actual age. Any chance you might be open to cutting that goal by 2/3 or so?

I wanted to leave some space for further massing without having to go into 20% + body fat range. I suppose i don’t need to lose as much weight as I first thought tho.

It’s pretty early in your training career and you have time to make small changes periodically that will add up over the long haul.
