So I’m on week #2 of S&C, 1st week felt good. I’m going backpacking on this coming Friday so I started week #2 session one today (Sunday) rather than Monday so I can fit in all the sessions before I leave later in week. I felt good, recovered but on the myo rep movement of low incline DB presses there was a noticeable decline. I went from 60x13 and multiple sets of 5 then 4, and finally 3 to slightly sloppier/harder 60x13 and only one set of 5, then 4’s and finally 3 this week. I’m chalking it up to one less rest day and slightly more volume on pressing movement in week 2 with slightly higher poundages. Should I be overly concerned or is this normal? Main lifts and so forth felt good…
I don’t think it matters at all and wouldn’t worry about it. Carry on.
