Is it safe to store dry foods like lentils, TVP, peanuts etc in a non-food-grade plastic container( like an ikea storage box for example)?

I’m not really sure. I will say, I generally have a low concern about plastics and harm, but foods that are oily/fatty, will be exposed to heat, or similar would give me pause. If it were me, I’d get some storage that is rated for food.
