Overload squat variant

Strength I, overload slot says ie: x5@7(79%)… Does that mean about 79% of the comp 1rm or is this based off of an estimated 1rm for overload squat slot (chains)?? Are we supposed to be going heavier on this variant then on our comp day?

All numbers are calculated off the exercise being performed that day. In this case, whatever variant you’re doing for that squat- use 79% to ball park your 5 @ 7.
