Planning for time off

Hi, I’m trying to arrange my training schedule to account for one week off for a Labor Day vacation, and then another 2-4 weeks off from the gym in ~9 weeks due to travel.

I’m currently on Body Building Block 1. Could you advise which of these two plans is better? Currently doing well on Block 1 and would have no need to begin a new block other than travel needs.

Plan 1: end Block 1 early.
Complete Week 4 of Block 1. Take 1 week off. Begin Block 2 and run for the full 6 weeks, which would take me right up to when I will be leaving for my trip.

Plan 2: complete Block 1 after week off.
Complete Week 4 of Block 1. Take 1 week off. Come back and complete weeks 5 & 6. Begin Block 2 and run for 4 weeks, which would take me right tup to when I will be leaving for my trip.

I take it you won’t have access to a gym during either of these vacations, eh?

That said, neither of the plans looks bad and I don’t think it matters much.
