Hi,
I purchased the bb-template and Iam about to start soon.
-
May I add backoff-sets to be more flexible with the volume work? How would I program these?
-
Is it reasonable to take the last set occasionally (every 2-3 weeks) to failure in order to ensure correct RPE-Rating?
thanks and greetings,
IT,
Thanks for your post and I hope you’re doing well. To your questions:
- I am no sure what you’re asking here, but if you are wanting to add more back off sets…I’d probably avoid doing that.
- Not really something I think you should care about, as the precision is way more important than the accuracy.

I just got the fear, that I will underestimate RPE-Ratings, especially on compound-movements like squats. I just did an autoregulated program that increases the load for the next session based on the amount of total reps of the last set. So you always take the last set to failure to see where you really stand. That revealed my inability to rate correct RPE-Values. What would you recommend to me to fix that?
