Hello, what differences are there in terms of strength and size adaptations from doing 3x3 @ RPE 8,9,10 respectively while increasing in weight each set versus 3x3 @ RPE 8,9,10 respectively, but with sets 2 (RPE 9) and 3 (RPE 10) decreasing in weight and having less rest in between those two sets? To clarify just in case, set 1, 85 lbs RPE 8, 2 minutes rest, set 2, 90 lbs RPE 9, 30 seconds rest, set 3, 85 lbs RPE 10.
You would gain less 3RM strength with the decreased rest, but maybe a bit more strength endurance (though not likely to matter when discussing 9 reps). Hypertrophy would be similar (and likely minimal).
