Sup yall. Hopping on the BBM train, I’ve had a coach for the last year and we were running lots of high volume sheiko-esque stuff. Did my first meet in May, 1160lb total @ 105kg. So, here I am. I didn’t feel like I needed a coach to progress right now and I wanted to try going at it on my own. Big fan of the BBM crew so here I am. Started on the Hyper II program.

12/1/2019 Log
Day 2 of Hyper II template (I started yesterday cuz my upcoming week is weird so I had to start a day early)
Conv Deadlifts
335lb x8 @ RPE 7
365 x8 @ RPE 8.5 (slight overshoot but nothing bad)
375 x8 @ RPE 9 (nailed this for sure, definitely one more but almost certainly not 2 more)

Normal Bench tng
175 x8 @ RPE 6.5 (definitely can start a little heavier, these were super easy and fast as hell)
190 x8 @ RPE 7.5 (still a little too easy, probably could hit these for like 10-12 reps total)
200 x8 @ RPE 8.5 (still kinda easy, definitely had 1 more, maybe 2)

Hack Squat
Note: First time I have ever done these, I was really excited to try them. Also, I don’t know what the actual weight is on these, so I’m just going back plates as if it were a barbell
225 (2 plates) x12 @ 7.5 (these actually weren’t bad, still finding the groove was all)
245 x12 @ 7.5 (yeah, just getting used to these is all. These went nice)
275 x12 @ 9 (solid 12, definitely had 1 more highly doubt 2 though, I was shakey af on the last reps)

Followed all this up with Leg Extensions, and then my upper back GPP work and my arm GPP work. Really enjoying the program so far. I’ve used RPE a little bit in the past, but all my programming has been percentage based really. So, RPE is a ton of fun. If I’m feeling good I can really push shit.

225 x8 @ RPE 6.5 (undershot just a hair)
255 x8 @ RPE 7.5 (slight overshoot, probably like 5lbs over only though)
275 x8 @ RPE 8.5 (definitely had 1 more, maybe 2 though, could go just a tad heavier on these)

High Incline DB Press
45 x10 @ RPE 7 (ez breezy, beautiful)
55 x10 @ RPE 8 (nailed it)
70 x8 @ RPE 10 (bro’d it a little too hard on these but I have no meets or anything anytime soon so I’m fine with pushing it a bit)

Flat DB Press
65 x8 @ RPE 10 (amrap set)
50 x12 @ RPE 7.5
50 x12 @ RPE 8

DB Flyes
20s 2x15 (these felt nice)
