Strength 1 v2 question

Maybe this has been answered but i couldn’t really find it so…

In strength 1 v2 you’ll do sets of 4 @6, 7,8 then a back off and finally a single at 83% of est 1RM.

I don’t know if it’s the same for everyone or it’s meant to program like this but when i do the math following the numbers given to me by the spreadsheet my signal is the same as my 4 @ 7. Is this supposed to be how it is? If not then what should that number be in relation to 4 @ 8.

For reference in on week 10 and taking about the 2" deficit deads.

Thanks!

Yes, this is correct. However, the 4 @ 8 set will give you more information about your e1RM than the 4 @ 7 set in this context. It may be that your single-rep effort would be lighter or heavier than the 4 @ 7 set pending how the 4 @ 8 set went.
