Strength 3 volume progression

I noticed the volume prescription for variations shifts a little wildly from weeks 6-7-8.

For instance, close grip bench goes from sets of 8@6,7,8 with some repeating sets in week 6, to an AMRAP and 2 sets of 12 with a given percentage in week 7, and then back to 8’s in week 8.

As another example, tempo squats go from 8@6,7,8 with sets across @8 in week 6, to 8@6,7,8 with no repeating sets in week 7, and then week 8 is 8@6,7,8 with more repeating sets than week 6 in week 8.

Is this intentional or is week 7 written out of order?

This is intentional. Week 7 is designed to be low stress week :slight_smile:
