Hello,
I’m wondering what you would suggest or at least modify a bit to use for my father. He’s 60 almost 61. 6’3” and over 350 lbs definitely over the waist limit. The largest mitigating factors here, other than the obvious fact that he needs to lose weight is his age is that he has AFib which can disrupt any attempts at doing light GPP work.
Thank you for your advice.
Brew,
Is his A-Fib not managed? If not, he should see his cardiologist prior to engaging in exercise as this needs to be addressed. If he’s been cleared to exercise by his cardiologist, then I think the beginner template would be appropriate while having him select exercises he wants to do from the available drop downs.

His A-fib is managed and he’s cardiologist has okayed him for exercise. Not getting him to do it consistently is a different problem but that’s beyond my and your control.
Yep, I agree. He’ll need to want to change in order to make this thing work. Best you can do is get him to voice why he wants to engage in regular exercise. This may take some time and multiple conversations, but getting him to say it portends a better outcome than telling him
