I have read your TBAB article, apologies if you covered this there and I have forgotten it.
Generally speaking if someone is going to switch from a slow bulk to a slow cut, should this have any immediate bearing on their programming? Should they lean to more volume at lower intensities with the idea that more hypertrophic stimulus will tend to neutralize the catabolism of dieting? Or should they lean to less total work because recovery becomes more difficult?
I know that in certain circles for aggressive dieters the conventional wisdom is to reduce volume as needed for recovery but maintain intensity. This was with the goal of preserving strength rather than muscle mass per se, and with the assumption that gains would not be a realistic possibility.
