My doctor prescribed me with Moxifloxacin for a sinus infection. I’m allergic to penicillin. My doctor warned me about possible and rare side effect of sore joints. The pharmacist advised me to stop strength training while on the medication to avoid possible joint damage.

I’d rather not stop at this time and was hoping to get some advice for the good doctors at Barbell Medicine. Thank you.

Nick

Thank you. That’s great info and very helpful. I’m going to ask my doctor about a different med as it’s not a very bad infection.

I’m new to barbell medicine and so far it’s been a very good resource. Keep up the good work.
