Twice a week full-body training program for hypertrophy?

I recently finished running Hypertrophy I back-to-back and absolutely loved it. I saw great results, however, I was in college at the time and had a structured school-life balance that afforded me the consistent schedule to base the workouts on. Now that I’ve graduated, I’m in under-employment limbo working in a restaurant while waiting for call-backs from job applications, and my formerly consistent schedule has now been swept away and replaced by a work schedule that randomizes every week. I don’t want to lose my gains from Hypertrophy I as much as possible, but I only have the time-energy to train twice a week now as opposed to the 3-5 days a week Hypertrophy I demanded.

What kind of 2 days a week full-body hypertrophy program is out there that would be most effective for preserving what I’ve built? I don’t expect not to incur losses with a switch-up like this, but I’d like to at least slow down the rate of loss, or at best preserve what I’ve gained. Thanks in advance!

Drip,

Great to hear you had great results on the Hypertrophy I program. Love that!

Given the dose-response relationship between training load and gains, where more training load generally produces greater gains, we’d ideally want to maximize how much training you can do with your available time.

I think you’d be a perfect candidate for our Time Crunch program, which includes multiple programs for different schedules and goals, i.e. 2,3,4+ days-per-week and strength, hypertrophy, and general s/c designed programs.

I’d start with one of the hypertrophy-focused programs, then do a strength program (all included in the same download) to switch it up for a bit, then re-evaluate where you’re at.
