Unracking the bar in a squat.

I have been low bar back squatting for about 6 months. I M sboutbto wrap up the bridge. I am squatting 1 rep of 330 at rpe 8. I just noticed that when I unrack the bar I do it a bit differently than demonstrated. I put my left foot forward and my right foot back. Is this an acceptable way to unrack or should I immediately stop until I can switch over. I attempted to do it with both feet planted equally and if feels very awkward to me- I do not like it.

You can unrack the squat however you’d like, as long as it’s stable for the unrack and walkout.

In general, most people find that a feet-together position is a bit more stable, particularly under max weights, but you’ll have to figure that out for yourself. You don’t need to “immediately stop” anything.
