using supplements for a labor occupation

I was lifting for strength, following the SSLP. I recently stopped lifting because I started a new construction job. We work 5 12 hour days. In the next week or two I plan to start lifting again. But in the mean time would you recommend the Peri RX to maximize muscular gains and recovery from the demands of a labor intensive job? The job involves moderate to heavy lifting all day. To give context the strength requirements are more than framing but less than concrete or demo.

I have been working for 5 weeks now and by Saturday I can be very sore.

if Peri RX would be a good option would I take it before and after the work day? Or before, during and after?

Thanks

Kevin

I would take peri RX 2x/day in this situation. I’d take it before and after a workout.

In my other question about the Gatorade you mentioned that I could try just sodium in my water with BCAAs. Would these two doses be enough BCAAs.

I could start here and see how it goes. Then add more BCAAs or a protein shake for a and fruit for a snack?

As far as if 2 doses of BCAAs be enough, that depends. Enough for what exactly? What else are you eating and what are your goals? All these things are germane to the topic.
