Weight Progression on Beginner Template

I’m starting Week 3 of the Beginner Template. Love it so far. I’ve hear you talk about adding 1-5% to the bar. Should I be doing +5% each session or each week?

So far I’ve been adding 3-5% per session and its been working, but thats probably because I started pretty light.

Adding weight session to session doesn’t necessarily make sense if some of the movements and target rep ranges are changing, of course.
