Hello Dr Baraki and dr Feigenbaum, I have a question for my wife, 33 years old, 1.75m tall, weight 62kg. She is in the 9th week of the beginner template phase 1. Squats and deadlifts are going well and there still seems to be room for improvement, in the bench and ohp instead she is blocked at around 30 kg. What do you advise her to do at this point? Hi Luigi,
I wouldn’t expect big time improvements on the bench or OHP when handling ~30kg. She probably needs access to 0.5kg plates to add weight to the bar every 2-3 weeks. If that’s not happening, I’d consider moving her to block II and seeing how that works.
