First of all, thank you so much for taking the time to create all this content and respond here on the forum - I’m truly grateful for such an amazing resource. Hoping I can make some gains and keep up my end of the deal
My background:
Male - 33 years old
Height - 186cm
Weight - 72kg
Waist - 33in
I started with the beginner template 6 weeks ago and so far my waist has gone down 1.5 inches and I’ve lost 3.5kg overall. I have intentionally been eating at a caloric deficit but now I’m wondering if I should just maintain and then bulk once I’ve finished the beginner program.
Prior to this I ran a SSLP (2019) and then have just resumed barbell training now that gyms are open again (I did some bodyweight training throughout the year as well). Long term goal is add a bunch of lean body mass, get stronger but have no desire to compete in PL and don’t have a sport other than cycling.
My lifts are all currently pretty low, maybe about 2/3 of where I ended up with my LP. I hope this is enough information for you to advise on appropriate weight management. Thank you,
