Calorie upkeep and acid reflux

I recently had my acid reflux go off the rails after my meds decided to cease and desist. I’m adjusting my diet while waiting for my new meds to fully kick. In other words, no more junk, which means I’ve lost about 10 pounds (probably wasn’t good weight anyway). My question is how can I maintain a proper amount of calorie intake without turning on Mr GERD again? By the way, 49 yrs old, best lifts in 4 yrs of training are: squat 308 x 5, bench 230 x 5, dead’s 350 x 5.

What do you weigh, whats your waist measurement, how long have you had GERD, and what does your doctor say about it?
