Is there any give in the 3 hour protein synthesis window?

Gentlemen, I am an older lifter (56yoa, 6-3 230 36-37 inch waist) doing the bridge and need to keep my protein intake up. Could I ingest 30-40 grams of protein every two hours throughout the day and still use all of it? My job doesn’t always allow for big meals properly spaced but I can drink protein shakes.

I wouldn’t recommend doing a protein shake every 2 hours, but rather I’d have more protein per meal. It’s fine if you get 3 meals a day.
