SSLP PRs
SQ: 230 lbs x 5 x 3
BP: 137.5 lbs x 5 x 3
PS: 97.5 lbs x 3 x 5
DL: 295 lbs x 5 (horrible form, back rounding with pain afterwards; have since reset DL down to ~250)
Goals
Gain strength, set new e1RMs for all lifts, improve conditioning, improve physique, fit productive training into my schedule
I’ve been lifting barbells since June 2018. In early January 2019, I decided to transition to The Bridge after resetting many times on SSLP.
After training consistently for several months, my career began to cut into my training time. I’m a professional artist. Link to my website: https://jonrollins.com/
For the next 8 weeks, I will have sufficient time to properly run through The Bridge.
In late December, during my last few weeks of SSLP, I was about 177 lbs, and have since lost about 15 pounds from career stress and poor nutrition. Shooting to gain ~0.5 lb/week during The Bridge.

Session Notes:
- Lost the second rep on my first failed attempt on CGBP. Waited 4 minutes and tried again, got 3
- Subbing rack pulls for competition deadlifts today until I can make some blocks this week. Block pulls will then be performed this Friday, after which the program will be followed as written.
- Workout time was especially long. Was good about 3-4 minute rest periods during the squat, but had to rest more for CGBP and DL. Last week I traveled, was stressed, and lost some weight. Getting back to it.
- I struggle with keeping the bar on my shins in the DL. I always kick it forward with my shins when it gets heavy. I struggled with it all through SSLP. Same story today. Will seek help via form checks.
- It’s tough to rate RPE on the DL since I know my form is not correct, but I can’t seem to fix it. At about 185 lbs, I start to kick it forward.
