Tomorrow I start with additional sets…UGH… if I am to be honest I have so enjoyed the one set per RPE situation, alas all good things must come to an end or we would not appreciate it when it’s here:) . I feel so lazy lately all I want to do is sleep or sit on my couch I mean I know I work lots and lots of hours but damn the gym feels like a chore which is an unfortunate situation… But that feeling shant last but a moment… I will soon love going again!!! I am determined to will myself to like it!!!

There’s a lot to be said for just showing up and getting “some” work done.

It’s a process…keep on pluggin’ away.

So I was in the middle of lifting and was called out on a medical very fake “emergency” (in case you get all caught up in your brain as to what the emergency was, my son had a terrible bloody nose as he is prone to have and requested I picked him up quickly from a different place because it was too bad for him to get to his dorm so I had to leave the gym and get him… it was done by the time I arrived)… He is lucky I adore him:) . I therefore was unable to finish my lifting and technically had 3-0-3 squats to do… worst things in life have happened :).

I was happy with my touch and go bench it was almost easy… I did say almost:)… Happy with my box squat however extreme knee pain with the one leg press. I am just waiting till January to talk to my surgeon (I I have seen him for so many years now we are buddies)… I know I actually need a knee replacement however cortisone works well too and worried if I get surgery, I won’t be able to do what I want to be able to do … so putting it off as much as possible… that’s fear for you!!!

I had to do all of this in about 45 min so I was booking it and probably hurt my overall lifts because it makes no sense why I could do more on a box squat then a regular squat except for the fact I literally hate a regular squat which probably inhibits my ability to do that as heavy and the cramming this all into 45 min. Legit I was booking it!!

Oy vey, I missed a day this week I was actually going to try to make it up all in one day and my buddy said and I quote “Why would you do both? I thought you were past that stupid shit. …move on and understand that doing more now won’t make up for it. It does not work that way” . So I called him a dream killer!!!

I am going to have to ask the management at the gym if I can use chalk, it keeps slipping at 225 and the nurling is not great. they have posted that chalk is prohibited, but I suspect I can let them stretch the rules if I use liquid chalk and clean everything up well… fingers crossed!!
