Recommendations for nutrition during cold/respiratory virus?

It’s cold in the Lou and I’ve caught it too!

Any recommendations for nutrition during cold/respiratory virus?

I’m making Bubbe’s best matzo ball soup, but should I try to stick to my goal macros or do something else? Any benefit to just slamming WheyRX protein shakes for meals?

I’ve been averaging 116g P, 72g C, 52g F, and 21g fiber.
my goal macros are 200g P, 135g C, 50g F.
(not being able to figure out how to hit my macros is a seperate thing) Missing those T-Ravs!

5’9" 36yo M
BW 207 (losing about 1-1.5 lbs a week)
BF 30% (digital scale, so probably not that accurate)
Waist 41"
Overall goal to get under 35" waist, then figure out hyper/strength goals.

On week 3 of Beginner Template and going to train tomorrow come hell or high water.

Sorry to hear you’re ill. That being said, I would not change nutrition intake during an illness. I would also not recommend a protein shake at every meal unless you’re unable to eat.
