My name is Ryan. I have the template bundle, and will be working through the templates, starting with the LP. I’ve never finished an LP before. And as I get older, I’m tired of wasting time, not making progress.
Sunday 8/19
Squat: 155x5x3
Bench: 115x5x3
Deadlift: 215x5
Notes: been a while since I’ve moved any weight, so really just wanted to get my feet wet. Everything felt fine. Will be lifting Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
Tuesday, 8/21
Squat: 155x5x3
Press: 75x5x3
Chin-up: 8 min AMRAP: 32 Reps with green band assistance.
Notes:
Everything felt good today. The first set of squats felt a little off, but each set felt better and better. Press was fine. And the chins are something to get used to.
Thursday, 8/23
Squat: 165x5x3
Bench: 125x5x3
Deadlift: 230x5
Notes: This is the first time in about 2 months I’ve been able to hit all my workouts in a given week. It’s feeling good.
Sunday, 8/26
Squat: 175x5x3
Press: 80x5x3
Deadlift: 245x5
Notes: nothing felt particularly good today. Couldn’t get into a groove with the squats. Presses were ok. Deadlift felt heavier than it should have. All in all, got the work done.
Tuesday, 8/28
Squat (w/belt): 185x5x3
Bench: 135x5x3
Assisted Chins: 33 reps in 8 minutes
Notes: This workout felt better than Sunday’s. Squats felt ok, bench felt strong, and the assisted chins are an area I would really like to improve.
Friday, 8/31
20 minutes Assault Air Bike
Notes: I’m going to transition to the Bridge, because conditioning and GPP is important to me. I would rather make slower progress, but improve my work capacity, heart health, and conditioning levels. I have kids. They are why I train.
Ill be deciding on running Bridge 1.0 or 2.0, and first workout will be this Sunday or Monday, depending on how the week best works with my work schedule.
