Slightly elevated creatine kinase and urea

Hi docs,

I just got my blood work back and both creatine kinase and urea were slightly elevated.

Bloods:

Urea X 7.9 mmol/L (Range: 2.5 - 7.8)

Creatinine 89 umol/L (Range: 59 - 104)

eGFR 99.49 ml/min/1.73m2 (Range: ? 60)

Creatine Kinase X 802 IU/L (Range: 39 - 308)

I also had lipids, liver function and a complete blood count done which were all within range. Are those values any cause for concern?

I would not be concerned about this blood urea nitrogen level, given that your kidney function appears to be normal.

Why was your creatine kinase level measured in the first place? There’s no reason to measure it in a healthy, asymptomatic individual.
