My dad who is 67 year old, approached me to ask if I could order some DHEA for Him.
He has trained his whole life, both strength and cardio, but as he has gotten older his energy
has declined a bit and he had some health issues in the past few years with periods (a few weeks) of not training.
Basically he has lost some muscle and gained some fat over the years.
He thinks the DHEA might aid him in improving his body composition, maybe giving him some of his energy back.
I know that there is room for improvement in both his training and diet, but I wonder if the DHEA might offer some
additional benefit. I could also see a placebo effect “I feel that I have more energy” or “managing my nutrition is going to
be more effective now”.
So is DHEA supplementation something that could benefit him, and if so what’s a good dosage?
