I’m in the middle of figuring out how my insurance works with getting an in-home vs. in-lab sleep study since my doctor wants me to get tested for sleep apnea.
Question, does it matter which kind of sleep study I do? I’d prefer to do it at home, since it seems like that would give the best results on how I sleep under normal, for me, conditions. But I’m not sure what the pros/cons are. I have a health savings account through work that I can dig into if insurance doesn’t cover the in-home study. Sure hope I don’t have to pay for a machine and Darth Vader mask out of pocket…
Thanks for the free advice and help Ye good doctors dole out!
