Anterolisthesis

Hi guys,

My mother was recently diagnosed with anterolisthesis after having some back pain and getting an x-ray. The doctors recommended she begin doing physical and massage therapy to treat this condition. As a fan of BBM I am skeptical of things like physical and massage therapy so I wanted to ask your thoughts on this.

If this information helps, she is 50 years old, currently does not do any form of resistance training, and works in a retail store where she will lift some heavy boxes occasionally.

Also I have tried to get her into resistance training in the past but she was not interested and believes she will get injured if she does. I would have thought one of the treatments for a condition like this would be to start resistance training and get stronger so if you think that is the best way to go forward then I can try again to get her to start lifting.

Thanks
