Balancing Thyroid/Hypothalamus Function through Strength Training?

Hello! It seems I recall reading somewhere that weight-bearing exercise can actually improve thyroid function? Is this correct? I take a daily dose of levothyroxine (50mcg), and I have been working through linear progression for several months. My energy level seems to have actually increased a great deal to where I am almost jittery at times. Obviously, I should get my thyroid levels checked, but was just curious if this increase in energy level could be due to strength training improving my thyroid function? Additionally, can it also improve overall function of the hypothalamus (I also tend to have higher than normal prolactin levels as well). Thank you!

Exercise - particularly higher intensity exercise - can certainly affect thyroid hormone levels in the shot-term immediately after exercise. I’m not sure whether it can affect longer-term thyroid function, however.

Thank you!
