Basic MET questions

1.) Are there a medical recommendations for the number of MET minutes/intensities (number) a healthy adult should shoot aim for? If so, what are they, or where could I learn about it?

2.) Is there a preferred MET chart (chart that lists certain activities and their intensities/MET numbers) by Austin or Jordan.

3.) I’ve heard that short of a lab assessment, it’s impossible to measure your MET numbers and that charts are inaccurate. But does it really matter how inaccurate the charts are when setting out to achieve MET minutes as a healthy adult?

4.) Lastly, is there any reliable or useful way to use heart BPM to measure your METs? I’m assuming the answer is “no”.

hope it’s ok I asked multiple questions about this in one thread…
thanks so much for your time!
