Blood Pressure

Hi, so last week I went to the sports doctor to get approved for IPF meets, everything was fine but my blood pressure was 140/90 68, he said its a little bit high, I should measure it at home for a week and if it stays this high I should visit my doctor. So I measured it and it was 130-140 80-90 60-70 most of the time. I think I will go to the doctor on Friday but first, I would like to ask you for help because I think the doctor will only tell me some bullshit. Before that when someone measured it for me they never said anything so I think its a new thing. I’m wondering why this would occur and should I be worried, should I do something different? I’m 24, 6’2 , 211 lbs. Before I started training a year ago I was like 160 lbs skinny guy so maybe the fast weight gain? My diet is not the cleanest for sure. I always did some sport so, I don’t know really.
I trust you guys so I hope you can help me some way.

Thank you

High blood pressure is complex and often the result of multiple interacting factors, but without knowing anything else about you I’d say the rapid weight gain is the most likely/significant contributor here.
