What is the general consensus on things like body fat measuring? I used to be able to get a bodpod done about every three months and it seemed helpful at times and completely frustrating at others. Are they worth doing or should I just ignore those and pay attention to something else?
I don’t think BF testing is valuable unless it increases motivation for an individual. The bod-pod also has too much error for me to recommend.
I would tend to agree but I also know the scale is not a good indication either. So what would you suggest for an good measure of how you are doing in terms of changing body composition. Sight alone can be tough to gage unless they are drastic changes. For example I am up about 3 lbs but was really hoping to lose weight. I am also in the middle of doing the hypertrophy template so is there anyway for me to feel like I have lost fat and gained muscle or vice versa?
I don’t agree with this. Average weekly weights work relatively well for this.

Not necessarily, especially when looking for subjective improvements in a value, e.g. body aesthetics. Using weekly weight averages, waist and hip measurements, plus photos can be fairly effective.
