Hello,
My daughter (8) was just diagnosed with CRPS three weeks ago (right foot). Luckily we caught it very early and she progressing nicely with PT twice a day.
I’ve been following along and listening quite a bit to your posts and podcasts regarding pain.
I came across across this article today and I must say, you guys are spot on.
Guess I don’t really have a question, but just wanted to say thanks. If you have any knowledge about CRPS I’d love to hear it of course.
Have a nice weekend.
Jared
Thanks for sharing. CRPS can be a pretty horrible condition, so I’m glad to hear that your daughter is doing well.
Many of the same folks we reference frequently with respect to pain neuroscience research are also interested in CRPS. Check out Lorimer Moseley and/or David Butler discussing Graded Motor Imagery, for example.
How would you approach CRPS from a training/ pain management perspective?
This is is the first time I’m ever heard of CRPS and after a google search I’m just interested in how different from something lIke fibromyalgia this condition is?
