Diastasis Recti and training

I am interested in knowing your perspectives on training with diastasis recti. Any resources, articles or podcasts you’d recommend?

I had never heard of this condition before, I have a friend who has it post-partum (over a year post partum now) and wants to strength train. She has a lot of anxiety about aggravating the condition, and has asked my advice. I’d love to know any ways you might adjust training to encourage the rehab process.

Hi Maddee

We’ve discussed this a few times before:

In general, we wouldn’t adjust training based on the presence of DR alone.
