Do we micro load weight on pressing exercises

Hey all,

Been creeping these forums for quite a while now and thought, I should probably just sign up and ask some questions, so here I am. I have many questions but atm I only have one;

Do we micro load weight on pressing exercises on a weekly basis, here at BBM? I am starting to question my practice of only adding 1kg a week on top of all pressing exercises, and thinking maybe I should be jumping 2.5kg weekly, like I do with squat and deadlift. Am I still stuck in the starting strength frame of mind, or am I cool to continue doing what i’m doing? Thanks!

Microloading on the overhead press is generally fine.

On the bench press … meh. Depends on the situation.

On the squat and DL, we don’t bother.
