Does this seem odd?

I was maintaining 200lbs at 2,400 calories since late August. Minus 1 week in September when I took vacation and came back at 218. It only took a week of being back on my normal routine to get back to 200.

I kept maintaining 200 until the 2 weeks around Christmas and New Year and topped out at 211.

Although I resumed my normal routine at 2,400 calories I can’t seem to drop down past 205. I figured 205 ain’t too bad so I changed my goal in Macrofactor to maintain 205 instead of 200 and it recalculated me to 1,900 calories which feels low to me.

So is it odd that I used to maintain 200 at 2,400 and now it’s 205 at 1,900?

The only other change is switching from Alan’s Untamed Strongman Program i did over the summer & fall to Hyper I Gen 2 which I am not currently on Block 1 Week 10.

Eh, I do have some thoughts here. Assuming the weights are all on the same scale, time of day, etc., I suspect that you added more mass during the 2’ish weeks than your vacation. I also suspect your true average Calorie intake is higher than 2400/day right now, as that seems a bit low to be maintenance at 205 with significant amounts of exercise.

On the other hand, it is possible 2400 at 205 would be maintenance if there was extreme metabolic adaptation (like Biggest Loser level). I don’t know your entire weight loss history, but that also seems unlikely (though maybe partially contributory).

In any case, yes, 1900 does seem low to me for 200 or 205, though you would certainly lose weight!
