Dr Baraki, rep range question

Dr Baraki, i read through some of your old logs at SS and remember your first years you used a lot of lower rep, higher intensity sets ie doubles and triples (~80-90% and higher as you were always trying to PR) more often than any other rep range. i noticed now you train more often at 4-6 rep ranges with lower intensity (~75%) but more volume. why did you change training philosophy?

Basically, it was not sustainable. The fatigue / stimulus ratio was far too high, and I started to dread training and developed a number of aches and pains.
