Export data from app?

Hi, is there a way to export data such as training history from the app to a spreadsheet or other file so there isn’t just a single source of the data?

Thanks
Jon

I don’t think we have that functionality yet, but I do know it was on my list of requests. It should pop up in one of the next updates.

That’s great. Other than that I’m impressed with the quality of the app so far. Good work!

Any update on this? This would be an extremely useful feature.

What is the best way to submit feedback about the app? I’ve been using it for a few months and love it, but have found a couple of things you might want to put on your roadmap.

I haven’t heard anything about it just yet. We’ll definitely announce new features when the come down the pike!

You can do it through the app or through our customer support email, support@barbellmedicine.com

Noted, cheers.

Hi again Jordan & co, :waving_hand:

I hope you don’t mind the necropost.

Instead of a full blown export to spreadsheet, would it be possible to get access to the ‘raw’ underlying data you’re using to store training information? I assume it’s just going to be in json/xml or something? If there is a way to dump the data to a file and send to another device then others in the barbell medicine community might be able to start writing converters/visualisers for the data. I’m a software developer myself and may be tempted to have a go at that.

Thanks for all the great content you’ve delivered over the years.

Hey Jon,

Appreciate the kind words. We may do something like in the future, but it’s not at the top of my list right now.

Just reviving this to say: I unfortunately had to stop using the Barbell Medicine app due to the lack of an export data feature, It’s something very critical for me and I believe I’m not the only one. Hopefully It will become a priority at some point!

Cheers,

I love getting this kind of feedback!
