GS&C low fatigue

On block 2, week 5, absolutely loving the template. My main goal was better conditioning and to build some more power while maintaining strength during weight loss. I feel noticeably quicker and more athletic when playing rec sports, weight loss is going good, and strength still seems to be there, although its hard to know for sure as I have not done any comp lifts. Also, the variety of this template is just fun.

That said, I need to start looking at the spreadsheet more and not just the app. In past questions, it seems like when there is a discrepancy, go with the spreadsheet. I think I found another typo in the app. In Weeks 4, 5 and 6 of block 2, the spreadsheet shows that the main lifts change to a top set of 4 reps @rpe 8, then backoffs at RPE 7, up from the prior week where the top set was RPE 7. However, in the app it still has the top set at RPE 7, with backoffs at RPE 6 like weeks 1-3. App has it like this for the remainder of the block. Also, looks like Bench goes to 4 back off sets, up from 3, but the app still has it at 3 backoff sets.

No biggie, I can adjust in the app. Just thought I would point it out and pass a long how much im enjoying the template.

On a completely different note, finally bought some squat shows (TYR-2), and excited to try them out today. Will be the first time squatting with squat shoes opposed to barefoot. I would imagine just squat as normal and no real changes to think about?

Ah, good catch. I updated the app now, so it should be good there. Happy to hear you are enjoying the new program.

Regarding squatting with shoes for the first time, I don’t like to fix problems that aren’t there. I suspect you’ll do well without much focus on the new footwear. If that’s not the case, you know where to find us!
