Hi coaches,
I´ve seen a lot of videos of you guys squatting. One thing that I see in my own squat videos, is that the first thing that shifts at the bottom of the squat is the hips moving upwards very fast. Now, this happens to the point that the back does not follow up with the bounce of the hips. I think this is also easily seen in Austin Baraki squat videos he puts up. This, however, does not turn into a good morning squat type of critique, I would say but rather subtle.
Is that proper form?
The only way I´ve found to avoid it is to really focus on bringing the chest up as fast as I can.
I wonder if this is ok to post this kind of question here, since this is not form check.
Cheers
