Hormones role in weight loss

Hi Docs,

I know this is a very broad question but if someone can point me in the direction of a good resource for our hormones role in weight loss. When are there exceptions that a calorie deficit might not suffice and/or why weight loss isn’t always as simple as a calorie deficit?

Long-term weight change ALWAYS follows energy balance and there are no unique hormone conditions that alter this relationship. You can’t manage your hormones in a manner that alters weight change outcomes irrespective of energy balance.
