how do I know if I am at a plateau or have just reach my strength limit

I am 47 and have been training for approximately 4 years (mostly your powerlifting style templates). Generally, I have made good progress but over the last 6 months of training, I really felt like things have leveled off. I realized that at some point we will all reach our max lifting potential and our 1 rep max numbers will be in the right ear review mirror. How do I know if I am just at a plateau and I need to change my training protocol or if I have just reached my potential for my age?
I am 6 feet tall 215lb
powerlifting total about 1050 lb

I can confidently say you are nowhere near your strength potential after 4-years of training. I do think that if your numbers haven’t trended up over the last 6 months - and your environment is ripe for gainzZz- that suggests the programming could use an adjustment.
