Iron in cereal and protein shake

Hello, lately I noticed the pea protein shake I use has 8.5 mg iron and multi-grain cheerios have a whopping 18 mg of iron in them. I’m an omnivore I just use a scoop pea protein powder every day. Could this be cause for a toxicity concern since the RDI is 11mg? As far as I know plants mainly have non-heme iron and the phytic acid in grains can make it poorly bioavailable compared to red meat, for example. I also consume the pea protein shake with some lentils and rice. Omnivores probably shouldn’t supplement iron without getting proper bloodwork done, if at all right? With iron especially out of all the micronutrients its not a case of more is better.

It’s not a concern for iron toxicity from my perspective. I agree, people should not supplement iron without a reason to, as secondary hemochromatosis and/or other sequelae or concerns. I do not think people are likely to get anywhere near this via dietary intake of foods that are high in iron.
