Jaw stress after lifting

The past two years I’ve had this issue, where I feel extreme anxiety and stress around my jaw and neck, in some cases causing me jaw tics, at the beginning I thought it was just caused by life stress, so started taking drug, but It kept happening after the effect wears off, but whenever I take a break from heavy lifting, the tics go away, (I don’t clinch my jaw when lifting) and I don’t wanna be taking drugs my whole life, what else can I do? Any ideas? Its got to a point that It affects my life. And doctors just end up giving me antidepressants. I’m really desperate and I really don’t want to give up heavy lifting. Maybe it is just life stress but its weird that the tics go away when I take off from heavy lifting.
