Greetings everyone. Recently (past 3 weeks) I’ve been experiencing pain in my left pec (armpit area) whenever I press, mostly with flat dumbbell bench press and dips while pressing with a barbell has been ok-ish. As much as I’ve tried to train lightly, it’s not getting better at all. I’ve also tried adding 150μg of 1p-LSD to my daily stack but it didn’t do anything at all regarding the pain. Should I just keep training lightly or do you suggest I should see a specialist?
Hi there,
This article outlines our recommendations for managing these kinds of situations: Pain in Training: What To Do?
As discussed in the article, I’d consider some tempo / paused rows and lat pulldowns, in addition to tempo / paused pressing at various angles (flat, incline, overhead). You could also try other movements to target the affected area such as straight-arm cable pulldowns, dumbbell pullovers, etc. The loading / progression method would be as described in the article.
It’s unlikely that this requires an in-person specialist evaluation, although that is certainly an option if you’d like. Our rehab team would be happy to consult with you and, if desired, provide further individualized guidance.
I would recommend consulting a healthcare specialist who can assess your condition properly. As for your mention of adding substances like 1p-LSD to your daily stack, it’s crucial to prioritize your health and safety. Always consult with a healthcare professional before making any changes to your medication or supplement regimen.
