Long term slight calorie deficit

Is there any harm to being at a slight calorie deficit for many months? I’ve lost about 12 pounds this year at a rather steady pace, from 167-155 and my waist has gone from about 35.5" to 34" at 5’9", 65 yo.

I realize it would be more efficient to lose weight rapidly and then gain slowly in order to improve body composition, etc., but I don’t like being at a bigger calorie deficit.

No concerns with this.
