Lower back and frustration

Good afternoon everyone, so as many of you know I’ve had a lower back issue for 14 months now. My back does not seem to be getting better at all and still have a burning/tingling sensation in my sacrum area (pretty much 24/7 and still have pain sitting and basically it burns even lying down. I haven’t been able to do much for squat and deadlift and love powerlifting but have not had any motivation to train at all because of this. There’s a new gym that just came out near me with a belt squat if that machine feels fine I’ll probably just switch to that for a few months to get as close to a squat and deadlift variation as I can. I do not have the money for a consult right now but when I do I think I am going to set one up with you guys. At this point in time do you guys believe this “injury” can still heal? I’m pretty much at a loss of what to do at this point. I’d also like to state that I’ve watched barbell medicines videos on pain.

Yes, Shafiq, we think this can improve.

If I recall correctly, you’ve posted about your 100% normal spine MRI and normal medical evaluations, and we also saw you posting videos of yourself training with progressively heavier weights and apparently doing quite well within the past few months. However, here you seem to give the impression that you’ve had literally no improvement, which is a bit confusing.

If you would like further individualized guidance, I would once again recommend a consultation with rehab-focused programming from Mike or Derek.

Thanks for the reply Austin. I am going to set up a consult whenever I have the money for it. But yes I started to work back up on squats and dead’s but it wasn’t feeling good. By little to no improvement I mean that I have the same symptoms everyday and they have not completely went away since the injury occurred
