When i was running an LP back in June 2019, i managed to somehow pull the left side of my lower back during a squat and i had taken a week off to let the acute pain go away. I jumped back in and did a set of 120kg squats all was fine. I had then moved onto bench pressing and was carrying a 15kg plate close to me then suddenly i felt a pull in the right side of my lower back. That was the final week of training before my gym closed down and I went overseas but was experiencing a lingering stinging sensation that would be felt more acutely over the course of a month from the lower part of the lower back down to the middle area of the left glute.
I did not let that stop training as there were no pain prior to training sessions and after but I would just feel it now and then and over time it has become better and better. Finished an LP run fine after that and fast forward to now and I’ve run the barbell medicine template hypertrophy 3 day and am now on powerbuilding and numbers are going up to an e1rm of a 160kg squat and 190kg deadlift. I still feel the stinging/warm sensation from time to time but nowhere near as it did back in July 2019.
Other symptoms that may be related was that in october 2019 ish when i decided to do some yoga with my girlfriend id experience a quite a tight and painful sensation in the front of my hip when i would do a reclined knee to chest stretch.
Would this be a case of a pinched nerve if i do some simple google searches and can expect a full recovery with time and training?
