Lymecycline, isotretinoinum and training

Hello,
Recently, I am having quite severe acne, dermatologist prescribed me lymecycline and after 3 months of taking it I would have to take isotretinoinum for about 1 year. My question is how this kind of antybiotic and isotretynoinum could affect my training, muscle and strength gains? Should I lower intesity or volume during treatment?

I would not make any specific changes due to being on lymecycline.

Regarding isotretinoin - it is a medication that requires a degree of regular monitoring. Some of the labs that will be monitored can be affected by training, so I’d aim to get those labs done at least 48 hours or so after your last training session, if possible. Isotretinoin can also cause rhabdomyolysis in rare cases. If you are relatively well-trained, I don’t think you necessarily need to change anything about your training in advance, but I probably wouldn’t use the time you start the drug to crank up your training volume and intensity either.
